On a lighter note

Our first Sunday here was Stake Conference. The congregation I meet with every Sunday is called my ward. Several wards make up a Stake and twice a year, all the wards come together in what is called Stake Conference

It was one of the most amazing meetings I have ever been to. I can't possibly articulate how much lighter my heart felt when leaving the building that day. I had been spiritually nurtured. The choir sang Come Thou Fount, my all time favorite hymn---and they sounded identical to the recording below. Minus the large orchestra.

This is the BYU combined chorus, recorded in the early 90's (quite apparent from the dresses and hair). When I listen to this, it epitomizes the spirit of that meeting.
